Last week's post was all about traditions and one tradition not mentioned but not forgotten, is the passing down of family recipes.
Anyone who has had Thanksgiving at my house knows that I will most likely always make my Dried Cherry and Italian Sausage Stuffing. I have posted the original recipe link and I also have it on my recipe page with my minor adjustments to the original.
There are so many different kinds of stuffing! Let's see, there's Corn Bread, Bread, Sausage, Rice, Fruit, Vegetarian, Mushroom, Chestnut, just to name a few.
Then there's the question 'should I cook the stuffing inside the turkey or outside'? Personally, I cook mine outside and separate from the turkey. Growing up, my mother always cooked it inside and I'm still here to talk about it. So it's up to you!
What is your go to Stuffing recipe? Tell me! I'll post it on the recipe page. Here are some great options. Click the pic or the title link to get to the recipe. Take this quick poll while you're here:
Come back next week for part three of THANKSGIVING!
It's me, just trying to get by.
